The safety issues of using blog sites and social net works are:

 -cyber bullying: cyber bullying is where you getting bullied over a social website, you can avoid this by not accepting people you don’t know. --when you go on holiday and you put it in a social net work people know no ones in your house so it might get burgled, to avoid this happening don’t put on Facebook that your going on holiday because people that you don't want to know will find out and they might burgle your house.
